Abigail Norris is a filmmaker with 15 years of experience working with Artist’s Film, Documentary, Live Performance and Dance. Her films have a visually rich language that is emotive, psychological and atmospheric. Recent collaborations include: Award winning ‘Zones of Avoidance’, a multimedia poetry performance which won the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry 2013; ‘Hephaestus’ film/animation for the Winter Paralympic Flame Lighting Ceremony 2014 ; ‘Heads Up’ 8 documentary films for Arts Council England 2013; 'Starting Line', film for live performance at 2012 Paralympic Torch Ceremony, 'Modern Painters', 2 artist portraits co-directed with Jerry Rothwell for Channel 4 Art Slots.
